DIE......."with art "
When did we begin to disguise of ghosts to
express our pain?
A loose question for some historian to answer. I do not
know when we standardized in black and gray but I
did know that the old Egyptians buried to their
deceased in laborious and colorful sarcophagus that
the own users chose in life based on their pleasures.
Thanks to that, it is enough to see the outside of
the mummyˇs sarcophagus to know the the identity
of those mummies, their importance, the form and
estatus of life that they had, their tastes and
hobbies, etc.
Now, in the XXI century, I want that we return to
have that faculty: to select each detail of our own
coffin, its form and colors, the type of fabric or silk
of its inner coating, etc. Does it
seem
strange to you? Why? Are not you buying on credit you
niche in the cemetery of your election? Don`t you
pay a life insurance? I only propose you to
chooses the one that like you best ....... in life.
We received the coffins from the FACTORY " THE SUN "
in natural wood, the best of the country.
According to the model, we elaborated the design based
on the pre- Inca cultures and others, then we
selected the polychromy of the colors to use.
Everything is painted by hand, centimeter to centimeter,
often with fine brushes done of hairs of cats, for the
smallest and delicate details, and finally the
transparent varnish is applied by hand as a final
protection and finishing. This process can last
between 20 and 25 days for each piece...... of art.
All this work is so that you enjoy the last taste, so
that still after death you communicate transmitting
your way to see the life, your thought, your
tastes, your colors or your whims. All this is for
putting to your service so that you have the last
word, so that even in your vigil your presence,
personality, force and its love for life are felt. .
My coffins indirectly are inspired by all those people
considered like lunatics, those innovators taken as
crazy people, eccentrics. I dared to accept the
challenge and now I expose the product to you. I am
sure that well it will be received.
I invite all the people to watch these coffins with pre-Inca
motifs and details from other cultures, with eyes
free from prejudices, without fear but mainly, with the
heart, that does not deceive. I want to invite them a
little of my freedom, freedom to believe, to create and
to see, freedom to choose, freedom to be the only, as
unique is our fingerprint and only also it is our DNA,
unique we are all.
Finally, I dedicate this work to all those that die in
their law, to people who mark the future, that leave
their seed to us, for those exceptional , for those who
leave tracks...... until the eternity........forever.
